i know there are a lot of people out there that would like to skip over valentine's day. i have certainly felt that same way in different times in my life. i hope whether or not you have a partner or that person you call your love, that you know how much you are loved and that YOU are love.

i am grateful today as all days that i have love, that i am loved, that i am love.

to my sweetie, i love you to bits & beyond. to my friends and family who support me through it all. i love you, i love you, i love you.

month of burnin' love

it's the month of love so color me pink & red. a month dedicated to giving and receiving love. i like that.

i love these heart balloons and this sweet idea of creating ombre balloons for a gathering. i think i'll save that for my brother & sis's baby shower later this spring. oh, how i wish i could surprise my sweet rachel with this amazing valentine's balloon set by geronimo balloons, but i think i'll order the little heart shaped ballons from mignon kitchen co. shown above, fill them with helium, tie them up with raffia and have them waiting at home over pre-valentine's weekend for my girl.

sweet daylight

i took my first RAW photograph yesterday. i played with some presets i downloaded from RadLab, so fun! one thing i love so much about our apartment is the light that trickles into our living and bedroom windows. there are trees & shrubs that cover most of the windows for privacy which makes for the sweetest bits of shadows and light.
